Job Title: OFSAA Functional Resource
Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and knowledgeable OFSAA Functional MBA Resource to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in financial services, a deep understanding of Oracle Financial Services Analytical Applications, and an MBA with a focus on finance, operations, or a related field. This role involves working closely with business stakeholders to implement and optimize OFSAA solutions, ensuring they meet the organization’s financial and regulatory requirements.
 

Key Responsibilities:

Implementation and Configuration: Lead and participate in the implementation of OFSAA solutions, including setup, configuration, and customization. Work with technical teams to ensure seamless integration with existing systems and data sources. Business Analysis and Requirement Gathering: Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand and document business requirements, translating them into functional specifications. Conduct gap analysis to identify areas where OFSAA solutions can improve business processes and reporting.

 

Solution Design:

Design functional solutions using OFSAA to address business needs, ensuring alignment with industry best practices and regulatory requirements. Develop detailed design documents, including data models, process flows, and reporting structures.
 

Testing and Validation:

Develop and execute test plans to ensure OFSAA solutions meet business requirements and function correctly. Conduct user acceptance testing (UAT) and address any issues or defects identified.
 

and Support:

Provide training to end-users and stakeholders on OFSAA functionalities and features. Offer ongoing support and troubleshooting for OFSAA applications, addressing user queries and resolving issues promptly.

 

Project Management:

Manage project timelines, deliverables, and resources to ensure successful implementation and delivery of OFSAA projects. Coordinate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders to ensure project objectives are met.

 

Regulatory Compliance:

Ensure OFSAA solutions comply with relevant regulatory requirements and standards. Keep up-to-date with changes in financial regulations and assess their impact on OFSAA applications.

 

Qualifications:
Educational Background:

MBA in Finance, Operations, Information Systems, or a related field.

 

Experience:

Minimum of 4 to 8 years of experience in financial services, with a focus on financial analysis, risk management, or regulatory compliance. Proven experience in implementing and managing OFSAA solutions.

 

Technical Skills:

Strong understanding of Oracle Financial Services Analytical Applications (OFSAA) modules, including profitability management, risk management, and regulatory reporting. Proficiency in SQL and database management systems.

 

Analytical Skills:

Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex data and develop actionable insights.

 

Communication Skills:

Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders. Experience in preparing and delivering presentations to senior management.

 

Project Management:

Demonstrated ability to manage projects, including planning, execution, and delivery, within specified timelines and budgets.

 

Preferred Qualifications:
Certifications:

Certification in OFSAA or related Oracle applications. Project Management Professional (PMP) certification.

 

Industry Knowledge:

In-depth knowledge of financial services industry regulations and standards, including Basel III, IFRS, and CECL.

 

Soft Skills:

Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with stakeholders at all levels. Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
