LRS Consulting Services is seeking an Oracle Financial Business Systems Analyst for a Direct Hire position with our client in Dallas, TX!
This Oracle Financial Business Systems Analyst will be responsible for managing, supporting financial applications and related operational performance. This person will serve as a member of Corporate IT’s business-facing team.
What you’ll do:
Responsible for enhancements, support, and troubleshooting customers’ issues and questions for the following Oracle Cloud Applications: GL, AP, AR, AR Collection, FASupport production applications, interfaces and reports; proactively work to analyze and resolve production problems in a timely manner. Resolve end user service requestsResponsible for gathering requirements by working with business users and transforming requirements into functional levels of detailFacilitate resolution of cross-team business issuesBuild test cases to cover business processes and system functions; execute tests; analyze, resolve defects of all financial applicationsTrain users in new features of the financial applicationsMonitor progress on projects by keeping track of timelines, quality standards, and provide regular updates to stakeholdersIdentify, assess, and mitigate risks during project executionAct as a liaison between the business and ITIdentify impacts to Oracle Financials from changes to other applications (ERPs, supply chain, HR, payroll…) and business processesSupport day to day operational activities such as managing application access and period close activitiesQualifications:
5+ years prior business systems analyst experience supporting financial applicationsStrong knowledge of the following Oracle Cloud Financial Applications: GL, AP, AR, AR Collection, FAOracle Cloud Financials applications5 years prior business process design experience, focusing on process improvementWorking knowledge of production support, patching/upgrades, and enhancementsAccounting foundation knowledge to understand business processes and to interpret reportsExcellent analytical skills, ability to analyze and solve complex business problemsStrong business analyst skills and ability to collaborate in person and virtual environmentsSelf-starter, detail oriented and ability to learn new applications, tools and business processesAbility to work independently with minimal to no supervisionConsulting background is a plusLRS is an equal opportunity employer. Hourly rate between $20 - $125 per hour
