Job Description:
An international financial organization located in Washington, DC has a 6+ month contract position available for an Oracle Fusion Financials Technical Lead.
Project/Program Overview:
The Finance & Accounting unit of the Corporate Information Technology (CIT) department is seeking an Enterprise Application Architect for the Fee Accounting and Management System Implementation Project. As part of the project, Oracle Fusion Financials on Cloud would be implemented in IFC to manage the Fee Management business processes. The incumbent would report to the Project Manager and would be responsible for the following Job functions.
Essential Job Functions:
1. Act as an Oracle Fusion Financials on Cloud Specialist/Technical/Functional Lead for the implementation of the new Fee Accounting and Management System at IFC.
2. Facilitate discussions between Business users and the Implementation Vendor to understand and document business processes and business needs.
3. Catalog all business requirements and Functional requirements. Capture similarities and differences in business processes among various lines of business within IFC.
4. Facilitate creation of test scenarios for each line of business for accepting the deliverables from the implementation vendor.
5. Provide advice and guidance to the implementation team on the best practices for implementing Oracle Fusion Financials on the Cloud.
6. Validate all deliverables/documentation provided by the Implementation vendor.
Educational Qualifications and Experience:
• Education: Minimum Education: Master's in Computer Science/Accounting/Finance or equivalent.
• Role Specific Experience: 10 Years minimum of relevant experience.
Certification Requirements:
• Certification in ERP offerings will be preferred.
Required Skills/Abilities:
• Must have minimum 2 years of implementation experience in Oracle Fusion Financials on Cloud, with strong hands-on experience in implementing Fusion Project Contract Billing on Cloud.
• Must have some working experience implementation of other modules, such as Fusion Financials, Fusion Project Financial, and Fusion Advanced Collections on Cloud
• Must have minimum 10+ prior year experience in Oracle EBS with 5+ years of Technical/Functional experience in implementing Financial modules.
• Must have experience in managing Oracle ERP implementation project and other critical tasks such as deliverables validation, quality assurance & control.
• Must have understand of leading practice in Fees Accounting, Accounts Receivables, General Ledger and Oracle Cloud implementation in general.
• Must have good understanding of finance end-to-end business process that includes Accounts Receivables and General Ledger offerings.
• Must have experience in business process mapping, fit/gap Analysis, finance business processes reengineering.
• Must have experience in FSM, rapid implementation templates and ADFdi.
• Must have experience in Technical/Functional specifications, OTBI reports and analytics, configuration of Oracle templates.
• Must have good understand of Oracle ERP cloud integration points, Data loaders, Spreadsheet data loader, etc.
• Experience in ERP cloud security and workflows
• Experience in providing end users training
• Excellent communication skills, to be able to discuss Technical & Functional issues/solutions
• Experience in communicating and collaborating across all levels of an organization
• Self driven, motivated, Pro-active, well organized and a thorough planner
• Highly skilled at problem-solving & highly developed analytical skills
• Capable to take a high level objective and deliver results with minimal supervision and under the directives of the project manager.
