Oracle HCM Cloud Reporting SME

Job Summary:

Collaborate closely with business partners, functional Subject Matter Experts (SMEs), and Centers of Excellence (COE) and Project Managers to understand reporting requirements and translate them into effective solutions. Ensure that reporting solutions aligns with business goals, compliance needs, and best practices. Analyze business processes, data models, and user needs to define the scope of HCM reporting project and enhancements.  Design, develop, implement, and enhance the HR reporting backlog using Oracle HCM technologies.  Dashboard Creation: Develop dashboards to visualize HR data trends and patterns.

Responsibilities & Duties:

Provide expertise and opinion on delivering technical backlog items – writing pseudocode, writing SQL, feasibility check, performance, timeline, and cross-impact evaluation.  Participate in discussion with senior stakeholder and transformation project leads to create a roadmap and action plan for technical object deliveries to support the function. Troubleshooting: Investigate and resolve issues related to report generation or data discrepancies. 7 years of hands-on development experience and exceptional understanding of Oracle HCM Cloud reporting tools  4 years of experience using OTBI to deliver reports specifically across multiple subject areas in Oracle HCM.  4 years of experience in SQL, PLSQL for querying databases and creating custom data models. Functional Knowledge and familiarity with at least 3 Oracle HCM modules (e.g., Core HR, Absence, Talent Management, ORC, Onboarding, Compensation and Learning). Ability to collaborate with senior stakeholders, gather requirements, and communicate technical concepts effectively to functional teams.  Analytical mindset to troubleshoot issues and optimize reporting solutions. Ability to challenge status quo, estimates on technical deliveries and ability to come up with creative and innovative solutions to get the desired results.

Education Qualification: Graduate with Engineering and IT specialization

Experience Band:  5-8 yrs.
