Oracle HCM Cloud - Solution Architect
**About the Role** Solution Architect at Business Technology Engineering, People Technology, will be responsible for shaping and delivering stellar cloud solutions on Oracle HCM Cloud Applications. This role involves collaborating with Product Managers, business stakeholders to help drive solution definition, gain confidence from stakeholders, and then help deliver the solution working alongside other application developers and Engineers. This role serves as SME for Core HR, Payroll, Time & Absence, Talent Management functional areas within Oracle HCM Cloud, responsible to lead solution design, configuring, and implementing Oracle HCM Cloud solutions to support and enable the business with considerations towards best architecture practices, efficiency, scalability, and supportability. This role will be part of the Global People Technology team consisting of engineering managers, solution architects, program managers, Application Developers, Data & Integration Engineers, and Software Engineers. **What You'll Do:** - Advise internal business stakeholders and product managers on HR technology enhancements and transformation - Be the ambassador for ‌architecture standards and guidelines; Ensure end-to-end solutions align with standards and guidelines. - Create and maintain system architecture and solution documentation according to Uber standards - Serve as the SME for Oracle HCM solution architecture, ensuring scalability and avoiding tech debt - Diagnose problems and recommend appropriate solutions, and help faster decision-making - Lead proof of concepts and document potential solutions - Spearhead solution Proof of concepts and documenting all potential solutions for a given problem - Collaborate with enterprise, data, and application architects to advance long-term IT engineering strategy - Work alongside application developers and engineers to contribute to delivery - Provide guidance and review throughout delivery phase to ensure solutions meet requirements and standards - Stay up-to-date with Oracle HCM Cloud releases and continuously looks opportunities to improve tech solutions and landscape - Support hiring processes for the team, help drive current and future team performance - Build and leverage strategic relationships within the organization to navigate a complex matrix environment - Develop and coach team members to excel in their roles. - Work with global and remote teams and stakeholders **What You'll Need:** - 8+ years of Oracle HCM Cloud implementation experience, with 5+ years as a solution architect and/or technical lead across across at least 2 to 3  Core HR, Payroll, Time & Absence, Talent Management functional areas within Oracle HCM Cloud - Proven experience of delivering at least 2 end-to-end HR transformation projects on Oracle HCM cloud - Deep knowledge of Oracle HCM cloud capabilities, configurability, and extensibility to meet complex requirements - Strong understanding of Oracle HCM Fusion Cloud implementation methodologies. - Hands-on experience configuring and building solutions across multiple Oracle HCM Cloud functional areas. - Excellent problem-solving skills for troubleshooting multi-platform technical issues. - Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field. - Expertise in all phases of application development with ability to identify system dependencies as part of solution architecture. - Strong communication and relationship-building skills. - Experience using JIRA, Lucidchart, and other project management tools in the context of Agile delivery - Broad business and technology knowledge with awareness of HR technology industry trends. - Skilled at managing conflicting demands and performing well in complex situations We welcome people from all backgrounds who seek the opportunity to help build a future where everyone and everything can move independently.
