Oracle HCM Lead

ABOUT THE ROLE AND OUR TEAM:

As an Oracle HCM Lead, you are responsible for the overall design, implementation, and support of Oracle Human Capital Management (HCM) applications, ensuring alignment with business requirements and best practices. This role will focus on all HCM modules, providing expertise and leadership to optimize the company’s hire-to-retire processes and supporting systems developing a comprehensive strategy for the program aligned with the organization's goals and objectives.

This is a remote position in Spain with the opportunity to work, optionally, in the Barcelona office, where you work Eastern Time working hours (up to 22:00 CET / 4:00 PM EST).

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Technical Leadership: Serve as the subject matter expert (SME) for all Oracle HCM modules and their integrated applications, providing guidance and support to other team members and stakeholders. Lead technical discussions, workshops, and training sessions to enhance team capabilities and system understanding. Stay current with Oracle HCM updates, patches, and new features, recommending and implementing improvements as necessary. Stakeholder Collaboration: Work closely with People Operations, Finance, and other business units to understand their needs ensuring the Oracle HCM solutions meet their requirements. Foster strong relationships with stakeholders, providing regular updates and ensuring their satisfaction with HCM systems. System Implementation and Integration: Lead the implementation and integration of Oracle HCM modules, ensuring seamless deployment and functionality across the organization. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements, design solutions, and configure Oracle HCM modules. Ensure all HCM modules, including Core HR, Benefits, Payroll, Talent Management, and Learning, are effectively integrated and optimized. Project Management: Manage Enterprise Systems deliverables for HCM-related projects, ensuring timely delivery, quality, and budget adherence. Work closely with our Program Management Office on large scale enterprise projects. Coordinate with external vendors and consultants as needed to support project objectives. Prepare project documentation, including requirements specifications, design documents, and testing plans. Support and Maintenance: Provide ongoing support and maintenance for Oracle HCM applications, troubleshooting and resolving issues promptly. Monitor system performance and implement enhancements to optimize efficiency and user experience. Develop and maintain documentation for system configurations, processes, and procedures.

SUCCESSFUL CANDIDATES HAVE:

Education:  Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field. A Master’s degree is a plus. Experience: Minimum of 7 years of experience in Oracle HCM implementation and support. Extensive experience with all Oracle HCM modules, particularly Benefits, Compensation and Payroll including related integrated benefit and payroll providers Proven track record of leading HCM projects and delivering successful outcomes. Skills: Deep understanding of Oracle HCM architecture and best practices. Strong project management skills, with the ability to lead multiple projects simultaneously. Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills. Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse teams. Proficiency in SQL, PL/SQL, and other relevant programming languages. Knowledge of Oracle OTBI and HDL/HSDL.  Fluent in both English and Spanish.
  Certifications: Oracle HCM Cloud Certification(s) is highly desirable.
