The Capacity Management Consultant is an hourly, part-time position working an estimated 20 hours per week.Qualifications
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
Provide consulting and subject matter expertise to client’s by assessing, identifying, and providing solutions to their Cerner System.Conduct system testing and validation to ensure functionality and data integrity.Identify opportunities for system optimization and enhancement to improve efficiency and user satisfaction.Provide ongoing technical support and troubleshooting for end-users.Develop and maintain documentation for system configurations, processes, and training.Create user guides, manuals, and other educational resources to support learning and adoption.Coordinate and manage project timelines, resources and deliverables during implementation and optimization projects.Work closely with project leadership, including documentation and facilitation.Work directly with Cerner end users. Monitor workflows, provide documentation, and optimization suggestions.Maintain strong communication with PM, leader and team to promote a collaborate working environment.REQUIRED EXPERIENCE:
Experienced in using Cerner’s Capacity Management solution to optimize patient flows and bed tracking, analyze resource utilization and looking at ways to improve operational efficiency Comfortable collaborating with clinical and administrative teams to understand current workflows related to throughput and patient bed placementCan identify areas for improvement and design system workflows that enhance efficiency, reduce bottlenecks, and improve patient careProficiency in Cerner system configuration and support.Attention to detail and accuracy in financial reporting.Previous consulting experience in an ambulatory, healthcare setting.Excellent communication skills to effectively present findings and recommendations.A minimum of 3 years of relevant healthcare industry experience.Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines, PMP a plus.Travel required (25-50%).Current permanent U.S. Work authorization required.PREFERRED EXPERIENCE:
