Oracle OCI (Oracle Cloud Infrastructure) Engineer

Near Guilford, CT - Hybrid (2-3 days on-site per week)

(Contract-hire) - Government entity - US Citizenship is Required

Migrating away from Oracle on-prem & (Oracle Cloud Infrastructure) to Azure cloud platformConduct thorough assessments of existing on-premises infrastructure and applications to identify migration challenges, dependencies, and potential optimization opportunities for OCI.Create detailed migration plans outlining the approach, timelines, resource allocation, and risk mitigation strategies for migrating workloads to OCI.Develop data migration strategies to efficiently transfer large volumes of data from on-premises systems to OCI, including data cleansing, transformation, and validation processes.Guide application re-architecture or refactoring to optimize performance on OCI, addressing compatibility issues and potential performance bottlenecks.Conduct thorough testing of migrated applications and data on OCI to ensure functionality, performance, and security compliance.Deploy migrated applications and data to OCI production environments, continuously monitor performance metrics, and address any post-migration issues.

Required Skills:
