Technical Portal Solution Architect


Key Responsibilities:
Document the existing architecture of the customer / partner portal and supporting capabilities (Processes, Technologies and Organizations)
Design new portal solution options with recommended approach (SalesForce.com Community product and/or Oracle Customer Portal Solutions)
Design future state of best in-class enterprise architecture of a self-service enterprise B2B/B2C portal and supporting business capabilities
Ensure processes and technologies are scalable and flexible to meet future business needs and represent the best overall fit for the company
Collaborate with stakeholders and end users to identify and document business / functional requirements for the development and implementation of B2B/B2C portal systems and solution
Directly accountable for the conversion of project requirements into an architecture and design that will become the blueprint for the solution being created
Lead development of conceptual/business architectural solution blueprint
Design solutions that can be implemented with minimal disruption to business and supporting systems
Lead design sessions to identify gaps, dependencies and opportunities
Interface with IT and Business leaders to obtain buy-in and approval with architectural direction.

Required Qualifications:
Extensive experience in:
Oracle Portal solutions experience (SFDC Community experience)
Enterprise CMS solutions
B2B and B2C Commerce
Portal and Customer entitlements system design and development
Single sign on development
Multi-language portal development
Workflows and approval management
Responsive Design
SDLC
HTML standards and Web services
Proven track record of B2B and B2C end to end enterprise portal development for a high tech industry
Strong communication skills to interface with client executives and Sr. Leadership.
Minimum of 7 years of experience in Portal Architecture and Development (preferably in SalesForce.com and/or Oracle Portal ).
Minimum of 5 years of technical consulting, supervisory and onshore-offshore project team model
Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, or Computer Engineering (Master’s Degree is preferred)
High-tech domain experience.

Data Storage company experience a plus (e.g. NetApp, EMC, SanDisk, Seagate, etc.)
