The Senior Project Manager will manage the delivery of customer facing Oracle SaaS application implementations (HCM, ERP and/or EPM) of high dollar value, risk, and complexity, consistent with client requirements and procurement policies/procedures. Works under only very general direction, independently determines and develops approaches to solutions, handling complex assignments requiring considerable judgment and initiative. This is a REMOTE opportunity.
Responsibilities and Essential Duties:
Significant experience leading and managing Oracle SaaS application implementations (HCM, ERP and/or EPM)Experience with technical teams ranging from 1 to 20 technical consultantsHandle status reporting – authoring, communications, impact/risk assessments, etc.Lead management and account meetings by providing insights on the account, project schedule, scope and budgetWork with Technical Team Leads to ensure all technical objectives are in scope, represented in the plan, and managed accordinglyManage all stakeholders and build strong customer and subcontractor relationshipsServe as the primary project Point of Contact for our clientsManage and coordinate support of urgent and complex issuesAssure scope and requirements are monitored and controlled throughout the project’s life-cycle.Continually seek opportunities to increase customer satisfaction and deepen client relationshipsManage day-to-day client interaction, identify needs, expectations, and evaluate alternative business solutionsDevelop lasting relationships with client personnel that foster client tiesPresent project quality, client and team satisfaction, and project success metrics during project review meetings with the managing directorTrack and report weekly on-percent complete, schedule, burn, earned value, slippage, issues risks, and opportunities and other key project indicatorsKeep an accurate issues and risk tracking document with an associated mitigation planAccurately forecast revenue, profitability, margins, bill rates and utilizationTrack and report team hours and expenses on a weekly basisManage project budget and project profitabilityDetermine appropriate revenue recognition, ensuring timely and accurate invoicing, and monitor receivables for projectWork with Sales, Operations Director, and Account Manager to ensure clients achieve an understanding of expectations, deliverables, dependencies, risks and progressCommunicate progress, risks, expectations, timelines, milestones and other key project metrics to clients and team membersPerform all other duties, as assigned QualificationsMinimum Requirements:
Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.12+ years of work experience with 7+ years of experience in a project management position5+ years of experience in managing IT projects within a SAAS environment2+ years of consulting experience with Public Sector customersExperience with Agile project management practices such as Scrum and KanbanExperience with Oracle Cloud Applications and InfrastructurePMP certification is requiredExperience with ERP Financials is desiredDemonstrated ability to establish and maintain effective relationships and partnerships with key stakeholdersKnowledge / Skills / Abilities (KSAs):
