Work you’ll do/Responsibilities

An Oracle Tech EBS (E-Business Suite) Specialist is responsible for the technical aspects of implementing, configuring, maintaining, and optimizing Oracle EBS applications. They ensure that the system meets business requirements and operates efficiently. Below are the key roles and responsibilities typically associated with this position:1. System Implementation and ConfigurationRequirement Analysis: Work with business analysts and stakeholders to gather and analyze technical requirements for Oracle EBS implementations.System Configuration: Configure Oracle EBS modules to meet business needs, ensuring alignment with best practices and standards.Customization: Develop customizations and extensions using Oracle development tools (e.g., PL/SQL, Oracle Forms, Oracle Reports, Oracle Workflow) to meet specific business requirements.2. Technical DevelopmentApplication Development: Design and develop custom applications, interfaces, and reports using Oracle EBS development tools.Integration: Develop and implement integration solutions to connect Oracle EBS with other enterprise systems and third-party applications.Data Migration: Execute data migration activities, including data extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL) processes.3. System Maintenance and SupportSystem Monitoring: Monitor the performance of Oracle EBS applications and identify areas for improvement.Troubleshooting: Diagnose and resolve technical issues related to Oracle EBS applications, ensuring minimal disruption to business operations.Upgrades and Patches: Manage system upgrades and apply patches to ensure the Oracle EBS environment is up-to-date and secure.4. Performance OptimizationPerformance Tuning: Implement performance tuning measures to enhance the efficiency and speed of Oracle EBS applications.Capacity Planning: Conduct capacity planning to ensure the Oracle EBS environment can handle current and future business demands5. Security ManagementAccess Control: Implement and manage security measures to ensure data integrity and access control within Oracle EBS.6. Testing and Quality AssuranceTest Planning: Develop comprehensive test plans to validate Oracle EBS configurations, customizations, and integrations.Testing Execution: Conduct unit testing, system integration testing (SIT), and user acceptance testing (UAT) to ensure the solution meets business requirements.Issue Resolution: Identify and resolve issues discovered during testing phases.7. Documentation and TrainingTechnical Documentation: Create detailed technical documentation, including design specifications, integration guides, and user manuals.Training: Develop and deliver training programs to educate development teams and end-users on Oracle EBS functionalities, customizations, and best practices.

Qualifications
Required

Minimum 3+ years of experience implementing, configuring, maintaining, and optimizing Oracle EBS applications. Experience with Oracle EBS ApplicationsExperience with Oracle EBS BI PublisherExperience with Oracle EBS Integration Forms 9iLimited immigration sponsorship may be availableAbility to travel 10%, on average, based on the work you do and the clients and industries/sectors you serve. This may include overnight travel.Expectation to co-locate in your designated Delivery location up to 30% of the time based on business needs. This may include a maximum of 10% overnight client/project travel.Bachelor’s degree, preferably in Computer Sciences, Information Technology, Computer Engineering, or related IT discipline; or equivalent experienceMust live in a commutable distance to or be willing to relocate to one of the following Delivery locations: Gilbert, AZ; Lake Mary, FL; Mechanicsburg, PA
