I. Position Summary:

Developer enhances the configuration or extension of “Off the Shelf” applications in accordance with business requirements. The Developer embraces the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) process and is a strong proponent of the methodology. The Developer maintains and shares the Technical Architecture.

Position Knowledge and Personal Skills:

Strong analytical skills with a desire to become knowledgeable in the insurance industry.
Practitioner of Object Orient Design
Knowledgeable in the use of application containers like Tomcat, Websphere, Oracle WebCenter, Oracle SOA and Oracle/BEA Weblogic for clustering for high availability and load balancing
Previous experience with Enterprise Application implementation is preferred and Guidewire experience is a plus.
Knowledge and practitioner of SDLC, Release Management and Change Management
Familiar with the use of Messaging Architecture.
Experienced with Java, JavaScript, HTML 5, CSS3, Bash and Windows Scripting, XML, Webservices, Ant, Maven, JMS, JNDI, SMTP, SQL Programming, Portal
Experienced with Continuous Integration platform like Hudson or Jenkins.
Experienced with Unix or Linux commands, shell scripting and basic networking knowledge.
Great communication skills and collegial.
