Our practice specializes in dental implants, wisdom teeth extractions, complex tooth extractions, and IV sedation, among other procedures. Job Description Will be responsible for coordination of patient care during consult, IV sedations and all other oral surgery practice procedures in a fast-paced practiceProvides chairside support during clinical sessions, assist Oral Maxillofacial Surgeon (OMFS) with treating and monitoring patients during OMFS procedures, including but not exclusively, IV sedation cases – including pre-assessment, starting IV infusion, intra-operative monitoring, post procedure monitoring and discharge of the patient to homeProvides education instruction for patients and familiesWill maintain and record patient information, prepare and maintain the clinical environment, monitors and reassure patients undergoing dental/OMFS treatment, and provide advice to patients and refer clinical questions to Oral SurgeonComplete follow-up phone calls to patientsMust complete moderate sedation competencyWill have accountability for Performance Improvement Activity and Nurse activityWill work with Dental Assistant Team and Oral Surgeon Qualifications Requires Diploma, Associate or Bachelor’s DegreeActive RN license and 2-3 years patient care experience in a medical/dental facilityMust have an excellent IV and assessment skillsExcellent interpersonal communication skillsACLS certifiedMust be a team player Benefits Offered
