We seek a highly motivated and personable individual to join our team as a Part-Time Patient Coordinator. The ideal candidate will have a combination of front and back-office experience and the ability to provide outstanding customer service while supporting clinical and administrative functions.


Key Responsibilities:

Greet and check in patients for their appointments with professionalism and warmth.Answer high-volume phone calls and patient inquiries regarding appointments, treatments, and insurance.Effectively manage and coordinate a high volume of patient referralsScheduled and confirmed patient appointments, ensuring smooth coordination between the surgical team and patients.Assist with patient check-out and follow-up, ensuring all necessary documentation is completed. Verify insurance coverage and data entry. Assist with preparing and sterilizing instruments in the back office and providing support during patient procedures.Maintain accurate patient records and ensure compliance with HIPAA guidelines.Collaborate with the team to ensure a positive, efficient patient experience.

Requirements


Previous experience in both front-office and back-office a dental or oral surgery setting is preferred.Strong communication skills and a friendly, professional demeanor.Knowledge of dental insurance, billing procedures, and patient scheduling.Previous experience handling a high volume of patient referralsExperience answering a high volume of patient phone callsAbility to work independently and as part of a team.Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.Willingness to learn and adapt to the needs of the practice.Ability to work 3 consistent days per week. Salary Description Starting at 16.00/hr
