Orbital Welder
**Job Title: Orbital Welder** **_Pay:_** $23/hr-$27/hr **_Shift:_** 6am-2:30pm **Job Description** Work under normal to moderate supervision. Perform basic set-ups and operate orbital weld systems. Perform mechanical set-ups and changeovers for Swagelok welding machines. Operate orbital welding equipment and systems in a safe manner. Keep work areas clean and organized, and follow safety guidelines. Prioritize work and execute to meet production schedules and commitments in accordance with the direction of leads and supervisors. Work from schedules, shop orders, established procedures, blueprints, and product specifications. Fit, align, and precisely orbital weld products to meet or exceed product/customer requirements, specifications, and workmanship standards. Report deviations that can potentially interrupt productivity. Maintain logs and other necessary documents. May train less skilled technicians and operators. Measure and verify dimensions using inspection tooling. Complete routing and process planning as necessary. Demonstrate the ability to process and inspect the first piece in accordance with prints. Collaborate with Engineering to develop advanced welding processes as needed.
