Order Administrator

Job Summary: By joining us as Order Administrator you will be reconciling PO commercial requirements and creating sales orders in the ERP system. They are also responsible to work other internal teams to clarify order requirements and make corrections in the system when needed.

In This Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:

Review customer order for critical data as per the guidelines provided and correspond with branches to clear discrepancies in case any are found. After review, enter customer orders into ERP System. Clearly and completely bring together all commercial data provided in the Order Deviation Checklist (ODC) in various fields in ERP system. Ensure that the orders are assigned to the correct channel and currency. In case of any doubt check with team lead. Validate that special instructions of the order are also gained in system. Own and keep updated the processes and related documents, guidelines and procedures. Co-ordinate with Sales offices and internal functions to resolve problems associated with orders. Follow-up with Inside Sales team for after-BOM-spares to ensure that spare parts are loaded to Operations as soon as valve engineering is completed. Prioritize activities to achieve targets and on time processing. Raise issues to team lead whenever required. Update order details if more information becomes available at a later date. Provide timely response to internal and external enquiries. Perform other relevant duties assigned or required.

You establish clear goals with anticipated outcomes and results, understand the importance and interdependence of internal customer relationships, prepare content for communication that is impactful,  create a plan and outline for various audiences. 

For This Role, You Will Need:

Ability to efficiently bring together techno-commercial data on customer order and transfer that without errors. Knowledge about relevance of commercial data and how it impacts the logistics and invoicing process. Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and the skills to efficiently apply technology and systems specific to the work. Knowledge about basic commercial data included in customer PO will be an advantage. Basic abilities to understand the products sold by the company.

Preferred Qualifications that Set You Apart:

Bachelor’s degree or experience in science stream – Physics, Chemistry, or IT related subjects. Even a short experience in an Operation Department of a metal mechanic industry or in the Oil and gas Sector
