Order Entry Coordinator
Job Title: Order Entry SpecialistJob Description We are seeking a dedicated Order Entry Specialist to process complex customer orders and inquiries efficiently. The ideal candidate will initiate outbound calls to capitalize on pre-qualified sales growth opportunities and provide quotes, pricing, availability, and scheduling information within set guidelines. This role requires a proactive approach to resolving issues in a single call whenever possible and suggesting alternative or additional products to meet customer needs and internal sales objectives. Responsibilities + Initiate outbound calls to capitalize on pre-qualified sales growth opportunities. + Provide quotes, pricing, availability, and scheduling information within set guidelines. + Retrieve and process purchase orders (POs) and requests for quotes (RFQs) from EDI, customer portals, and websites. + Resolve issues in a single call whenever possible, such as stock checks, tracking information, and pricing. + Suggest alternative or additional products to meet customer needs and internal sales objectives. + Act as a liaison between customers, outside sales staff, and customer support to ensure prompt responses. + Develop and maintain customer quotations, records, and files. + Use Salesforce.com to keep communications current and support sales targeting initiatives. + Possess and continuously develop product knowledge. Essential Skills + 3+ years of experience with order entry + Proficient in MS Excel + Experience with ERP/CRM or related software + High School Diploma + Experience with outbound calls + Experience with Salesforce Additional Skills And Qualifications + Previous experience with outbound cold calls to former or new potential customers + Experience with Salesforce Work Environment The work environment is very quiet with high wall cubicles, fostering a collaborative team atmosphere. The working hours are from 7-8am to 4-5pm with a 60-minute lunch break. After approximately 3-4 months of training, the option to work from home one day a week will be available. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $21.00 - $21.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
