Our Southwest Service Center is looking to add an Order Entry Representative to the Team. This role will be located on-site in our Ontario, California facility.

What would you do as our Order Entry Representative?
You will enter orders placed by our customers into the system for manufacturing. This includes interpreting product specifications and researching drawings. Confidentiality is a must due to the sensitive nature of various competitive and industry documents and materials this position will be in contact with.
You will also:
Perform all duties relating to the processing of customer orders with a high degree of accuracy, ensuring timely order fulfillment (orders may range from basic stock items to highly configured customized products Act as the primary point of contact for customers regarding order status, discrepancies, conflicts, or inquiries related to product specifications, pricing, and delivery times. Follow up with customers to confirm order details and resolve any issues promptly. Review customer order forms for accuracy, completeness, and adherence to company policies and procedures. Proactively identify and communicate any discrepancies, order conflicts, or application issues that could impact the processing of an order. Work with cross-functional teams (such as sales, manufacturing, and logistics) to resolve conflicts and ensure timely order fulfillment. Provide technical support to both customers and manufacturing teams by answering inquiries and troubleshooting product-related issues. Assist customers and internal teams with technical specifications, product applications, and configuration options. Carefully review customer order forms to verify completeness and accuracy before entering them into the system. Ensure that any special instructions, configuration details, or customer requests are noted and communicated clearly to relevant teams. Commit to maintaining a safe work environment by following ASSA ABLOY’s safety protocols, including the proper use of PPE. Promptly report any unsafe conditions or equipment to ensure the health and safety of all team members. Maintain a clean and organized work area, ensuring all documents and equipment are organized and safe. Must be available to work overtime as needed, including weekend work. Other duties as assigned.
The Skills and Experience you need:
High School Diploma or GED required. Proficiency with Math, Basic Geometry and Algebra. Excellent computer skills preferred (Word, Excel, Internet, email, etc.) Excellent interpersonal communication skills, both verbal and written for communicating effectively with customers and co-workers. Excellent organizational, planning and follow up skills along with a sense of urgency. Must excel working in a fast-paced environment.
Pay: $23.50-$24.75/hour, depending on experience
