SUMMARY This position is responsible for the creation, proper entry, and maintenance of ‘customer master data’ in SAP and performing various inventory-related functions. ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS • Accurately manages the ‘customer master data’ in SAP/ERP. • Work closely with the quoting, order entry, and reporting teams. • Provide centralized support to the sales and customer experience departments as it relates to data integrity and system optimization. • Ensures compliance with internal procedures of the Master Data Governance policy. • Hold internal assets accountable for providing accurate information. • Run system reports and distribute them to appropriate personnel. • Perform and support ‘customer master data’ audit if required. • Ongoing data cleanup, entry of additional data, and maintenance of customer master information record (CMIR). • Input SAP pricing and other condition records uploaded and submitted in SAP as approved by product management. • Review ‘customer master data’ regularly to limit duplicates and remove outdated data. • Propose solutions to complex ‘customer master data’ related questions for projects. • Propose process and operational improvements when needed. • Contributes to team effort in a collaborative and supportive manner. *Other duties as required in support of the department and the company* SUPERVISOR RESPONSIBILITIES This position does not have any supervisory responsibilities. EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE • High school diploma or GED. • Associate degree or two (2) years’ work experience in a specific area/field. • One (1) year of experience with ERP systems e.g., SAP, Oracle. • Knowledge of automation tools, such as Esker, Innowera, and SAP mass tools preferred. • Experience in the aerospace, military, and defense industry, or cable assembly business preferred. LANGUAGE SKILLS • Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English. • Proficient written and verbal communication skills. • Bilingual preferred. JOB SKILLS • Experience with CRM software (e.g., Salesforce). • Knowledge of ERP systems, SAP preferred. • Proficient computer skills with the ability to learn new software. • Proficient in Microsoft Office suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, Teams). • Excellent communication (written and verbal) skills including active listening. • Elevated level of attention to detail. • Strong analytical, research, and problem-solving skills. • Flexibility and ability to cope with process changes. PHYSICAL DEMANDS While performing the duties of this job, the employee must be able to be stationary for prolonged periods working on a computer. The employee is regularly required to use hands to finger, handle or feel, and talk or hear. The employee frequently is required to reach with hands and arms. The employee is required to stand and walk. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to twenty (20) pounds.
