Your Role at KIK

An Order Management Specialist oversees the entire order processing cycle to ensure accurate, timely, and efficient fulfillment of customer orders. This role involves coordinating with internal teams such as sales, logistics, and supply chain, as well as maintaining communication with customers to address order inquiries, updates, or issues. The specialist is responsible for ensuring compliance with company policies and standards while optimizing the order process for seamless operations.

 

What You’ll Be Doing

Manage customer orders, ensuring compliance with pricing, quantities, and terms. Maintain 98%+ customer service levels and resolve shipment or PO discrepancies. Expedite plant input for customer reports and ensure pricing updates per contracts. Monitor EDI and manual orders for errors and troubleshoot integration issues. Liaise with departments (Transportation, AR/AP, Supply Chain, Warehouse, Sales). Address AR issues like short payments and resolve customer disputes. Ensure accurate order entry (98%+ accuracy) and timely confirmations (within 24 hours). Manage late shipment reports, rush orders, and shortage alerts. Maintain account summaries and monitor SKU/promo quantities to prevent shortages. Troubleshoot daily issues, including refused loads, credit invoices, and order discrepancies. Prioritize orders by importance and lead times, ensuring prompt shipment. Flexible and adaptable to handle all assigned duties and evolving needs.

What You’ll Bring

High School Diploma or GED required; Bachelor’s degree preferred Order Management/Account Management experience is highly preferred JD Edwards, SAP and EDI integration is a plus Advanced Excel and Microsoft Word skills Multi-tasking, problem solving, and high attention to detail Analytical skills, dependability, adaptability, and initiative are essential  Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills  Strong verbal and written communication skills
