Description:

The Order Management Specialist is responsible for scrubbing scheduled orders to ensure they are eligible for shipping. This role supports the delivery ops team by updating orders to correct fulfillment locations, transit times, order payment status, and if customers are ready to receive. 

 

 

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

 

Key fundamental skill sets for this role will be:

 

·       Review scheduled orders to create capacity by removing or correcting orders that are ineligible for shipping.

·       Validate orders are qualified to ship by checking for outstanding balances, incorrect fulfillment locations, stock location, or UPS product.

·       Scrub orders for product fully committed and multileg timing.

·       Confirm large order deliveries are set up correctly.

·       Validate zip codes and most current hub servicing the route.

·       Fabric and chairs in correct quantity and fulfillment

·       Reach out to the appropriate store and scheduling partners to assist with correcting orders.

 

 

Requirements:

·       Education, Experience, and Other Qualifications:

·       High school diploma; college degree preferred

·       Some customer service experience preferred

·       Valid Driver’s license preferred

·       Working knowledge of computer programs

·       Understanding of general work practices in warehousing and distribution, including order processing, picking, and shipping processes and procedures.

·       Dedicated to business and allow flexibility with work hours if necessary
