**Aerotek is hiring for Order Pickers in the Halethorpe, MD area** **Qualified candidates will perform the following:** Riding a pallet jack and picking orders off an invoice sheet. Locating the item, pulling it, and then stacking it on a pallet. Will operate a riding pallet jack, which is similar to a stand-up forklift. All items are 50lbs. May also load trailers and pack items for shipping. **Responsibilities** + Ride a pallet jack to pick orders from an invoice sheet. + Locate and pull items, then stack them on a pallet. + Operate a riding pallet jack, similar to a stand-up forklift. + Handle and lift items weighing 50lbs. + Load trailers and pack items for shipping. **Essential Skills** + Experience with pallet jack, forklift, reach truck, and order picker. + Warehouse, material handling, and order picking experience. + Proficiency in operating a stand-up riding pallet jack. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Ability to occasionally work in cooler and freezer environments. + Comfortable with continuously lifting 50lbs throughout the shift. + Accuracy and attention to detail are critical. + Competitive nature with a drive to achieve the best pick rate. + Self-motivated and independent. **Why Work Here?** Enjoy a community-based, slower-paced work environment without aggressive pick rate expectations.
