**Job Title: Order Picker** **Job Description** We are seeking a diligent and experienced Order Picker for our distribution center in New Brighton. This role involves accurately filling orders according to picking lists and operating a cherry picker. The majority of the job will be spent on a cherry picker pulling orders from up to three levels high. Additional responsibilities include packing, palletizing, crating products, and preparing them for shipping. This is a 2nd shift position requiring lifting up to 50 lbs consistently. **Responsibilities** + Fill requisitions and orders operating a cherry picker according to pick sheets. + Operate a cherry picker 90% of the time, pulling orders from 1-3 levels high. + Pack, palletize, and crate products, then drop them off for shipping. + Consistently lift up to 50 lbs. **Essential Skills** + 3+ months of order picking experience or 1+ year of sitdown/standup forklift experience with order picking. + Ability to lift up to 50 lbs, with most products ranging from 15-30 lbs. + Consistent work history, with no more than 2 jobs in the past 3 years. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Shipping experience is a plus. + Basic computer skills are a plus. + Comfortable training on a forklift and not afraid of heights. **Why Work Here?** Our company offers excellent benefits, including 50% employer-paid medical and dental plans, affordable options, and standard PTO accrual with the potential to earn additional weeks over time. Our warehouse is very clean and well-lit, and we maintain a flexible and employee-friendly work environment. **Work Environment** The work environment is clean, organized, and well-lit with high racks for pulling orders up to three levels high using a cherry picker. The dress code is casual; close-toed shoes are required, but shorts are allowed in the summer. The warehouse is large and busy, with 20 people on the 1st shift and 15 on the 2nd shift. The 2nd shift operates from 3:30 PM to 1 AM Monday-Thursday and 3:30 PM to 7:30 PM on Friday. The role requires flexibility to work up to 10-12 hours a day, especially during the busiest days, with an average of 50+ hours per week. **Job Type & Location** This is a Contract to Hire position based out of New Brighton, Minnesota. **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $20.00/hr.
