**Job Title: Order Selector** **Job Description** As an Order Selector, you will operate various equipment, including single, double, and triple pallet jacks, to efficiently move around the freezer and pick orders. Your responsibilities will include using a scanner to manually pick items, building and wrapping pallets, and moving around 2,000 lbs an hour, totaling approximately 20,000 lbs per day. This role involves routine heavy lifting and working in both dry storage and cold storage environments. **Responsibilities** + Operate single, double, and triple pallet jacks to move around the freezer and pick orders. + Use a scanner to manually pick items and add them to pallets. + Build and wrap pallets after picking items. + Move around 2,000 lbs an hour, totaling approximately 20,000 lbs per day. + Perform routine heavy lifting. **Essential Skills** + Order selecting and picking orders. + Building pallets and heavy lifting. + Attention to detail. + Operation of various equipment, including pallet jacks. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Experience with equipment operation, including single, double, and triple jacks. + Experience in cold storage environments. + Ability to lift up to 100 lbs. **Why Work Here?** Union facility with opportunities for growth and development. Freezer uniforms are provided, and a heated room, on-site lockers, and break room are available. There is significant growth potential, with examples of selectors advancing to VP and drivers moving up to Supervisor positions. **Work Environment** Work in a freezer, cold storage, and dry storage environment. Steel-toe shoes are required, and there are pallets and forklifts moving throughout the facility. **Job Type & Location** This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Saint Louis, Missouri. **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $19.75 - $19.75/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
