Overview:

Waters has an exciting and challenging opportunity available for a China Order Operations Order to Cash S4 Lead to drive and successfully delivering solutions in the S4 HANA Implementation. This role is base in Shanghai, and will report to the Sr. Customer Operations Manager.

 

The OTC S4 Lead will be responsible for spearheading the System upgrade in Waters, by collaborating closely with Waters Global S4 project team and Order Operations team and key stakeholders. China Order Operations Order to Cash S4 Lead will be the subject matter expert leading China to a successful implementation, drive the system evolution, such as transition to S4 HANA via system conversion, HANA migration, system release upgrade, and so on. Meet Waters business and digitalization requirements, improve effectiveness and efficiency in the entire Order to Cash process, and drive for customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities:

Responsible for SAP S4/HANA transition program and end-to-end development in GC, by partnering with global team and cross-functionals, including building new capabilities in the entire Order to Cash process, and shifting to new S/4 HANA platform, and delivering excellent customer experience to customersParticipate in S4 Design Phase as subject matter expert. Participate in Design sessions (functional and cross functional), develop requirements based on industry best practices, review and approve designs for area of expertiseParticipate in S4 Testing Phase Activities: Develop test scripts, prepare test sample data, conduct tests, review/approve test results (automated and manual tests).Participate in S4 Data Mapping Activities: Participate in data modeling design sessions (Align data requirements, policies with process design and business needs), Review and approve data transfer scripts, review, and approve results.Participate in S4 Change Management Activities: Act a change agent for area of expertise, Design and develop training materials, Act as train the trainer for area of expertise.Participate in S4 Hypercare: Support S4 program post go-live. Support critical escalations and develop continuous improvement roadmap for future releasesBusiness requirements collection, map business requirements to the technical architecture design and data model. Leverage data analysis to identify inefficiencies and gaps in process, and provide solutions to make changesFunction as a strong influencer both at the local level, in terms of driving change, as well as at the global level, in terms of representing China business needs in key operational decision making in system and process design and the alikeChange management in SAP upgrade roll-out activities, through different phases of preparing, execution, testing, data migration and integration, documentation, etc., and providing proper trainings to stakeholders, to ensure a smooth change on system and daily processes at the GC level Qualifications

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree or above in major of Computer Science, Software engineering, or relevant discipline+7 years’ experience in customer operations, or end-to-end Order to Cash Process implementation experience in SD, digital solutions experience.Expert knowledge of MS Office tools. Experience in SAP SD project, especially OTC areas in S4H is a plus.Project management, strong analytical and problem-solving skills; acts decisively and swiftly, identifies problems and experience developing and presenting clear and concise solutionsExcellent communication skills in both Chinese and English Highly collaborative and team player, proven track record of successfully cross functional teamwork and ability to manage through influenceStrong sense of ownership and conflict management, Self-motivated and thrives in a dynamic business environmentAbility to travel and attend meetings during US and Europe time zone Company Description
