We currently have an opportunity for an Orderly Coordinator to join our team at the Royal Adelaide Hospital. Working closely with the Orderly Manager, you will provide leadership to the Orderly Services, by providing operational guidance to the Orderly Service, enabling the service to meet KPIs and implement quality and improvement strategies to promote change.

What you’ll do

The role has a broad remit, with key responsibilities outlined below:

Ensure that all employees perform their duties in accordance with the required standards and procedures. Openly communicate with employees ensuring regular briefings occur and all relevant information is shared. Effectively maintain master and monthly work rosters. Ensure all contractual responsibilities are met in line with Services Specification, Method Statement, Functional Brief and all relevant contractual documents. Ensure adherence to work schedules, reviewing at least on a quarterly basis. Monthly analysis and reporting of non-conformance of KPI’s and providing rectification / justification. Actively seeking ways to improve work efficiency and identify areas where opportunities for business improvements can be realised.

What you’ll bring

Relevant tertiary qualification and/or Industry experience within a similar environment Formal qualifications/certification in Leadership or People Management is desirable Considerable health care support service experience is essential Previous experience in leading, developing and managing a team Strong Knowledge of Orderly Operations / Service Line Functions Sound knowledge of resource management Understanding of KPI compliance and reporting
