Summary THIS IS A NATIONAL GUARD TITLE 32 EXCEPTED SERVICE POSITION. This National Guard position is for a ORDNANCE EQUIPMENT MECHANIC (SSC), Position Description Number D2574000 and is part of the KS 184 Intelligence Wing, National Guard. This position is located in an Air National Guard Mobility Air Force (MAF) units and Intel Wings, Munitions Section. Responsibilities As a ORDANCE EQUIPMENT MECHANIC (SSC), WG-6641-11, you will provide munitions support to the state and designated agencies in support of their taskings. This position functions as a Small Shop Chief in a Munitions Section. This dual status technician position requires military membership. Other duties as assigned. Requirements Conditions of Employment Qualifications Military Grades: E7 through E8 Compatible Military Assignments: 2W0X1 GENERAL EXPERIENCE: Experience or training which has provided the candidate with the knowledge and application of mechanical and electrical principles and the skill to perform intricate repair and adjustment of hydraulic and pneumatic components and devices. SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE: Experience or training in repairing, rebuilding, modifying, and testing a variety of major subassemblies. Experience in diagnosing malfunctions and determining repair in major components consisting of numerous assemblies, interrelated electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulic assemblies, and components. Experience in the use of precision measurement equipment. Experience interpreting and applying a variety of technical manuals and similar published materials.
