Org Readiness Manager
+ DEFINITION/PRIMARY FUNCTION + Under the direction of the VP of Quality, the Organizational Readiness Manager leads system wide efforts to ensure continuous organizational compliance and ongoing readiness with standards and regulations required by The Joint Commission, Massachusetts Department of Public Health and Center for Medicare and Medicaid Services for all organizations with Berkshire Health Systems (BHS). The manager proactively plans, implements, coordinates, and continually improves the Berkshire Health System’s efforts related to compliance, accreditation, and licensure requirements. Leads a coordinated response to unannounced external accrediting or regulatory agency visits such as DPH, Joint Commission or CMS. + POSITION QUALIFICATIONS (Minimum qualifications are required unless stated otherwise.) + Experience: + Five (5) years’ experience in health care and accreditation standards is required. + Prior management experience preferred. + Experience with group leadership and facilitation preferred. + Evidence of strong computer skills required. + Education and Training: + Bachelors Degree Required. + Master’s degree in nursing, Public Health, Healthcare Administration or related field preferred. + License, Certification & Registration: + RN License - Currently licensed as an RN in Massachusetts + Other Requirements: + Demonstrates excellent presentation skills utilizing available formats (person-to-person, data boards, PowerPoint, Dashboards, etc.) + Able to use analytical and creative problem-solving skills. + Maintains high self-motivation and direction. + Completes tasks and meets deadlines in an effective manner. + Able to work in a team-oriented, collaborative environment.
