Job Description:

The University of Florida’s Department of Orthopaedic Surgery and Sports Medicine is currently seeking a full-time academic board certified or board eligible Adult Reconstruction and Joint Replacement Orthopaedic Surgeon. This position will be Associate Professor or Professor on a tenure–accruing or non-tenure accruing track.  Title and salary will be commensurate with experience and academic qualifications.

Responsibilities will include patient care and teaching with emphasis on joint surgery. Efforts toward extramural funded research is also encouraged.

Minimum Requirements:

The successful candidate will have completed an accredited Orthopaedic Surgery Residency, a one-year or greater Adult Reconstructive Joint Fellowship and passed Part 1 of the Orthopaedic Surgery Boards Examination. MD or DO degree is required and the candidate must be eligible for an unrestricted Florida Medical License.
