Job Description
The Medical Assistant provides a basic level of patient care and treatments. You will assist with obtaining vital signs, document the chief complaint and all actions taken, and alert the physician of any problems, concerns, or abnormalities. Additional duties include obtaining patient history, assisting physicians, residents, and licensed nursing personnel, setting up exam/procedure rooms, obtaining lab specimens, and accurately filling out requisitions. The Medical Assistant II also functions more independently and coordinates the workflow of other Medical Assistants when necessary. Front desk duties such as registration, check-in, and scheduling of patients are also part of the role.

Work Site:
This is a fully on-site position in the central PHX area.
Schedule:
Monday - Thursday schedule starts at 7:30am and work hours vary depending on if the doctor is in the office or not.
Friday shifts are shorter. Either 7:30am - 1pm or 11:30am - 5pm.
Work Environment
The work environment is a clinic setting, non-hospital, specifically in an orthopedic practice with 14 Medical Assistants on site.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $20.00 - $28.00
