Our Nurse Managers serve as unit-level leaders that plan, organize, staff, direct, and ensure collaborative multidisciplinary patient care delivery. The Nurse Manager provides coaching, direction, and supervision of their assigned unit(s) and all staff members.
What you will do:
Direct the planning and implementation of department education/training to promote professional competence/growth and ensure optimal patient care.Ensure financial performance and profitability through the development and monitoring of the operating and capital budgets for designated areas/units.Direct all quality monitoring for designated areas, focusing on optimal patient outcomes, regulatory compliance, risk management, and continuous quality and process improvement program for unit services.Develop departmental standards, policies, procedures, guidelines and protocols. Maintains awareness of department/service area operations and potential for problems through regular rounding and interaction with colleagues, leaders, and patients.What we are looking for:
Graduate from school of nursing; BSN or Master's in healthcare related field or MBA with Health-related focus.Current license to practice as a Registered Nurse (RN) in the State of OhioMinimum of 2 years’ recent and relevant clinical experience, including Critical-Care experienceDemonstrates the ability to asses, develop and mentor a patient care teamCurrent BLS/CPROur Commitment to Diversity and Inclusion
