Responsibilities
Mayo Clinic's Department of Orthopedic Surgery is seeking an Orthopedic Oncologist and/or Adult Reconstruction Surgeon to join our practice in Jacksonville, FL.
In this position, you’ll have the opportunity to join our Orthopedic Oncology and/or Adult Reconstruction team, serve as one of our orthopedic specialists providing evaluation, consultation, and surgery for patients with sarcoma or other related orthopedic tumor conditions, limb salvage and/or adult reconstruction with complex primary and revision total joint arthroplasty. The surgeon will join our Mayo Florida orthopedic team which includes 14 other orthopedic surgeons. A team of orthopedic NP/PAs and orthopedic nurses support the practice. Education and Research are expectations of the position. You will teach and serve as a mentor for our orthopedic residents, adult reconstruction fellow, and medical students through the new Mayo Medical School campus in Florida.
The Department of Orthopedic Surgery at Mayo Clinic in Florida is a growing, dynamic practice with subspecialists in Musculoskeletal Oncology, Adult Reconstruction, Upper Extremity, Foot and Ankle, Hip preservation and Sports Medicine. Qualifications
ABOS board-certified/board-eligible in Orthopedic Surgery; fellowship training in Orthopedic Musculoskeletal Oncology and/or Adult Reconstruction (Hip and Knee). Must be eligible for medical licensure in Florida.
