Orthopedic Surgeon- Total Joint

Provides musculoskeletal specialty care and medical to patients.

WellSpan Medical Group (WMG) is seeking a Total Joint Arthroplasty Surgeon to join our established practice in Lebanon, PA. Individual must be a graduate of an accredited school of medicine with Doctor of Medicine degree plus completion of a medical residency training program in Orthopedic Surgery. He or she must also be Board Certified or Board Eligible.

Position Highlights:

Employed position with WMGSeeking candidate with niche interest in joint replacement (mix of general ortho and total joints)4 orthopedic surgeons, 1 podiatrists, 1 non-operative sports medicine physician and 5 APPsGeneral orthopedic call of 1:4 (1 day/week and 1 weekend/month)1 - 2 OR days/weekLarge referral base of WMG family and internal medicine physiciansSurgeries performed at Good Samaritan Hospital (GSH) and a nearby surgery centerGSH is a 170-bed facility with a busy ED Modern office with collegial/engaged staff; led by seasoned Practice ManagerEpic utilized in all inpatient and outpatient settings

Qualifications

Minimum Education:

Doctor of Medicine (MD) Required orDoctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) Required

Licenses:

Licensed Medical Physician and Surgeon Upon Hire Required orLicensed Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine Upon Hire Required

Courses and Training:

Certification from the American Board of Orthopedic Surgery or the American Osteopathic Board of Orthopedic Surgery. Upon Hire Required andCompletion of an appropriate residency program. Upon Hire Required andMust qualify and be a member of the Medical Staff of one or more WellSpan hospitals. Upon Hire Required
