Amergis Healthcare Staffing is seeking an OrthopedicTechnician. The Orthopedic Technician works directly under the supervision ofthe Orthopedic Surgeon. The Orthopedic Technician assists with splinting andcasts, as well as minor orthopedic procedures as directed by the surgeon. TheOrthopedic Technician may also assist with preparing personal assistive devicesand training for use by the patient.
Minimum Requirements:
High school diploma or GED required Completion of Orthopedic Training Program and Certificationby the National Board for Certification of Orthopedic Technologists (NBCOT)preferred Basic Life Support CPR, required Advanced Cardiac Life Support ACLS, may be required basedupon specialty 2-4 years of related experience required.
