The Joint, Office of the Secretary of Defense, Interagency Division (JOID) provides expert support services to a range of customers spanning across the Department of Defense, Federal Civilian, and international markets. JOID provides a diverse portfolio of analytical and programmatic capabilities to help our customers make informed decisions on their most challenging issues.
The Industry and Security Analysis Group (ISAG) provides analytical and consulting to promote, grow, and protect the U.S. industrial base by delivering critical decision support to national security leaders. Our team informs policy decisions, enables execution of comprehensive strategies, and monitors and reports on the effectiveness of policy implementation to support the U.S. Government’s priorities of ensuring a resilient industrial base for strengthening national security.
SPA has a near-term need for a Business Intelligence Analyst to provide onsite support at the Pentagon.
ResponsibilitiesThe candidate will support the Global Investments and Economic Security mission to protect DoD equities from adversarial foreign investment risks at home and abroad by delivering national security risk analyses and mitigation proposals to decision makers to resolve national security concern. Will provide business intelligence, economic, and threat analysis support to develop a variety of analytic products. Will research and assess foreign companies’ business operations and foreign investment activity that may present national security considerations for the Department of Defense, and collaborate across relevant offices within the Office of the Assistant Secretary of Defense for Industrial Base Policy (ASD IBP) and Department-wide.

Active TS/SCI clearanceBachelor's degree in a field related to Business, Finance, Economics, or National Security5+ years of relevant commercial or government experience involving the defense industryExperience with commercial and/or industrial base analysisRelevant academic backgroundDesired:
