Activities will include but not be limited to the following: **As a OSIH & Lean Coordinator, you create chemistry by...** + Leading incident investigations, monitoring action item status and ensuring compliance of Management of Change Safety Standards + Developing, maintaining documentation and ensuring execution of safety & health programs + Writing permits, conducting ongoing reviews, managing retention of closed permits/energy isolation forms, and implementing measures to ensure continuous improvement + Providing unit-specific coordination, preparation, and maintenance of safety compliance and participate as necessary in external and internal audits involving their unit + Implementing Lean Manufacturing Tools to improve safety, housekeeping and quality programs (5S, Standardization, etc.) + Acting as the unit’s steering team member and champion for ZIP + Role modeling the desired safety & health behaviors needed to drive continuous improvement in safety & health performance **If you have...** + High School Diploma or equivalent + Minimum 7 years of relevant experience in a chemical manufacturing environment, including Process Technician experience or minimum 5 years of front-line safety experience in a chemical manufacturing environment + Good communication and interpersonal skills + Ability to interact with all levels within the organization + Working knowledge of Microsoft Office + Ability to train a diverse team **Create your own chemistry with you@BASF** At BASF, you will have the chance to do meaningful work towards building a more sustainable future.
