OSINT Analyst, MID

Our work depends on a Mid-Career Level OSINT Analyst, to serve in support of defense analytical and administrative requirements for a Combatant Command (CCMD), Joint Intelligence Operations Center (JIOC). 

HOW AN OSINT ANALYST, MID WILL MAKE AN IMPACT

Demonstrate and apply understanding of various open-source collection platforms and tradecraft.Create high-quality, focused, and relevant Open-Source Warning Intelligence Reports (Tippers) and Open-Source Intelligence Reports (OSIRs) focused on answering Priority Intelligence Requirements.Meet time-sensitive, ad hoc, and routine internal and external requests for information requiring open-source collection and reporting.Engage with collection managers to ensure open-source requirements are submitted into the current Tasking, Collection, Processing, Exploitation, and Dissemination (TCPED) system.Support the fielding, development, and sustainment of the CCMD J2 Open-Source tools and technologies.Effectively engage with clients and partners to satisfy intelligence requirements through open-source collection.Comply with all applicable and current National, DoD, Agency, CCMD, and Directorate Open-Source policies and instructions.Support the development, updating, and promulgation of open-source policy for all components and elements operating in theater.

WHAT YOU’LL NEED TO SUCCEED:

Security Clearance Level: TS/SCI with favorable poly.US Citizenship RequiredDesired Education and Experience: Bachelor’s Degree with 8 yrs experience with at least a portion of the experience in the last 2 yrs.Required:  In-depth knowledge of open-source collection methods, techniques, and toolsPreferred: Intelligence, operational, DoD and / or CCMD experience.
