ZeroFox seeks an OSINT Analyst to join our Public Sector Services team. An ideal candidate would be someone who enjoys researching, following leads, and connecting the dots in online investigations to provide ZeroFox clients with actionable threat intelligence. The OSINT Analyst position is perfect for someone who takes initiative, can pick up new things quickly, thrive in a fast-paced environment, solve complex problems, and is always up for an exciting new challenge. This position will be based remotely in the US.
Role and responsibilities
Convert findings into meaningful intelligence by identifying, assessing, analyzing, and reporting on the threats targeting ZeroFox customers, with the mutual goal of keeping their information, employees, facilities, assets, brand, and reputation safe and secure Learn and employ ZeroFox patented technology to identify, analyze and report on relevant findings for daily intelligence, trends, metrics, and summary reporting Support customer service operations by being the ZeroFox point of contact for your customer and support comprehensive services management through recurring deliverables, briefings, and touchpoints as needed Respond to customer Requests for Intelligence (RFIs) Translate customer requirements into tactical and operational processes Process and analyze large data sets daily Support collection enhancement by identifying collection gaps and adapting by leveraging OSINT tools and collaborating with peers for custom solutions Identify and communicate enhancement opportunities and improvement ideasRequired qualifications and skills
General experience in threat intelligence, particularly cyber threat intelligence, to include knowledge of all aspects of the threat intelligence lifecycle. Experience performing open source intelligence (OSINT), social media research, or investigations Experience in orally delivering intelligence briefs or presentations Experience servicing or working face-to-face with customers Ability to assess, write, and communicate in an informed, objective, and timely manner Ability to quickly respond to requests and meet deadlines Proven use of discretion to make important decisions Strong organization and ability to track multiple projects in tandem Ability to drive customer satisfaction Ability to be highly collaborative but also work independentlyDesired qualifications and skills
Previous experience working in the Department of Defense or working with public sector customers highly desired Ability to liaise between various internal and external teams Ability to convey complex ideas, trends, and information in a simple way Experience in analyzing and synthesizing large amounts of data and information to turn it into actionable intelligence Experience in writing both brief and long form intelligence and investigative reports Ability to navigate customer issues, incidents, and culture in a respectful and timely manner Strong attention to detail and proven research skills Use of internal or external cybersecurity or intelligence platforms Knowledge and use of OSINT tools Use of search engine advanced searching capabilities Knowledge of reputable cybersecurity news sources Use of social media platforms for monitoring and investigations Use of covert communications channels like Telegram Knowledge of and experience using the Deep and Dark Web for monitoring and investigations Knowledge of and experience using the blogs and forums for monitoring and investigationsABOUT ZEROFOX
