OSP Inspector
 Position Overview

This position is responsible for supervising Outside Plant construction and splicing crews; this includes aerial and underground construction.

Performs pre-construction field walk outs to include understanding OSP Engineering prints, create bill of materials (BOM) for all project types and compare budget to field job cost estimatesManage outside vendors during construction, as well as perform quality inspections after work is completedManage invoices to ensure accuracy and ensure specifications are met and materials usage is capturedResponsible for forecasting material and expenses associated with each projectProvide regular updates on each project within SiteTrackerPerform unit price negotiations with contractors when scope of work is outside the norm

Requirements

Education: High School diploma or GED. Certification: Must possess a valid driving license and satisfactory driving record
