A fiber conduit construction company, is seeking Underground Directional Bore Foreman to be a part of our team reporting from our NE Ohio shop location. This position will be responsible for running a variety of equipment such as Directional Bore Machine, Excavator, Forklift, Dump truck, etc. This position always has a focus on safety, and must be able to read and understand prints, as well as follow company policies and procedures related to safety. The ideal candidate will have a good understanding underground distribution system. Telecommunication and/or Construction experience is preferred, Duties and Responsibilities: + Demonstrated ability to keep crews on schedule. + Organizing materials, equipment, and labor. + Verifying locates and materials. + Working knowledge of telecommunications industry, engineering work prints, ability to understand and interpret construction documents. + Experience working in both standard and high-risk areas, such as areas with live utilities, as well as knowledge of utility depths and placement. + Excellent verbal and written communication skills. + Flexible and work under pressure to meet assigned deadlines. + Detail oriented w/ strong problem-solving skills. + Ability to occasionally lift 50 lbs. + Occasional overnight travel may be required. + Other duties as assigned. + Valid CDLA w/air brake no restrictions required Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $35.00/hr.
