As the System Administrator in OT, you will:
Configure, install, and maintain OT systems, including supervisory control and data acquisition (SCADA) systems, industrial control systems (ICS), and other related technologies Monitor the performance and security of OT systems, proactively identifying and resolving issues to ensure continuous operation Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate OT solutions with existing information technology (IT) systems Implement security measures to protect OT systems from cyber threats and unauthorized access Develop and maintain documentation related to OT system configurations, processes, and procedures Provide technical support to end-users and resolve system-related problems in a timely manner Stay updated on emerging technologies and industry best practices to enhance the company's OT capabilities Collaborate with vendors and partners to assess new products and technologies for potential integration into OT systems.Your Key Tasks:
Operational & Technical Excellence: You define and apply patching strategy You define the best topology for Carmeuse’s Network (level 0 and 1) You define and implement the tools to insure the highest level of security against cyber-attack. Business Support: You organize when needed, preventive and corrective actions together with OT team and Plant automation technician. System Configuration and Deployment: You configure and deploy industrial control systems (ICS) and supervisory control and data acquisition (SCADA) systems You nstall and update OT software, firmware, and patches on industrial devices. Network Management: You design, implement, and maintain OT networks, ensuring high availability and security You monitor network traffic and bandwidth usage to optimize performance. User Management: You manage user accounts, permissions, and access levels for OT systems You conduct user training sessions to raise awareness about security best practices System Monitoring and Maintenance: You monitor the performance and health of OT systems in real-time You set up automated alerts for system issues and respond promptly to incidents You perform routine maintenance tasks, such as system backups and database optimizations Troubleshooting and Technical Support: You provide technical support to end-users and operators, diagnosing and resolving system-related problems You collaborate with vendors and technical support teams for issue resolution. Documentation and Reporting: You maintain detailed documentation of OT system configurations, network architecture, and security protocols You generate regular reports on system performance, security incidents, and compliance status. Disaster Recovery Planning: You develop and maintain disaster recovery and contingency plans for OT systems You conduct periodic disaster recovery drills to ensure preparedness for critical situations. Collaboration and Integration: You collaborate with IT teams to integrate OT systems with enterprise IT infrastructure securely You participate in cross-functional teams for projects involving OT integration with IoT devices and cloud services. Compliance and Regulations: You stay updated on industry-specific regulations and compliance requirements related to OT systems You ensure OT systems adhere to relevant standards. Capacity Planning: You monitor system resource usage and plan for capacity upgrades as necessary to accommodate the growth of OT systems.You Profile:
Basic requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field. Proven experience in configuring, deploying, and maintaining OT systems, Strong understanding of industrial protocols, network architecture, and cybersecurity principles. Familiarity with regulatory standards and compliance requirements related to OT systems Possessing a valid driving license Ready to travel to 20% Languages: English (written and spoken).Needed knowledge:

The OT department EMEA is a team of 10 people, including specialists in Electricity, in Instrumentation, in Automation and in IT. you will be part of the “IT of OT" team composed of 3 people.
Your Manager will be Michael Grymonprez:
Michael is our OT Manager. He has a long track in Automation and has therefor an extensive knowledge of the different technologies of the OT environment. Over the last 30 years he fulfilled different roles in different companies (management, project engineer,…). His background offers a complete view on the business needs.
Above all, Michael is rigorous and working daily to improve the department processes. He offers a large autonomy to the team members. On the other hand, he likes to share his experience and coach new comers / young engineers / students. He is a manager inviting permanently the team to suggest ideas and improvements. He is oriented towards the future and technological developments.
