OTR Driver Job#:388226 Location:IRON RIDGE, WI - Distribution/Manufacturing/Fleet Department:Distribution Category:OTR Salary:Hourly Apply To This Job Return To List Job Description This position is responsible for delivery of dedicated freight from Menards Distribution Center to Menards Stores, then returning to the Distribution Center. PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES: + Dedicated store deliveries within 300 miles of the Distribution Center + Deliver drop and hook, no touch freight, returning with backhaul trailer to Distribution Center + Staying in DOT compliance (pre/post checking equipment, keeping up to date DOT logs, informing management of any issue with equipment) + Provide outstanding service to the stores by maintaining a professional environment + Communicate any issues with the Transportation Manager + Ability to maintain a schedule and work with fellow OTR drivers Skills/Requirements PHYSICAL DEMANDS: + Requires intermittent periods during which continuous physical exertion is required, such as walking, standing, stooping, bending, climbing, and lifting material or equipment, some of which may be heavy or awkward + Warehouse environment can expose Team Members to temperature fluctuations (hot/cold), noise, dust, and uneven walking surfaces + Lift up to 50 lbs. frequently; lift up to 70 lbs. occasionally POSITION REQUIREMENTS: + Class A CDL + Reliable + Hardworking + Must possess a good driving record + Experience operating tractor/trailer or willingness to learn + Enjoy working outdoors + Proof of valid driver’s license Apply To This Job
