OTR Tire Technician

\nWe are looking for a seasoned OTR Commercial Tire Technician. Candidate must have at least 1 to 3 years of OTR experience operating an OTR boom truck (TIA and ETS certification a plus). Experience with small, large and industrial OTR tires required.

\nQualifications:\n\n\tMinimum of three years’ experience diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining commercial vehicles in a shop, fleet or road side assistance\n\tCapability of independently analyzing and safely resolving problems\n\tCapacity to demonstrate technical knowledge of commercial vehicles, equipment, materials methods, and tools to perform, prioritize and complete work\n\tPrior knowledge of tire related equipment and tools a plus\n\tValid CDL Class B/A Driver’s License preferred ,but willing to help obtain CDL.\n\tTire mount/dismount experience\n\t\n\t\tNo DWI convictions within the past four years\n\t\tNo more than one moving violation AND/OR fault accident in the last three years\n\t\n\t\n\tMust have clean MVR, Drug Test, pass DOT physical and background.\n\tHave a high school diploma\n\n 
\nJob Description:\n\n\n\tPerforms commercial tire service.\n\tShall be consistently capable of independently analyzing and safely resolving problems.\n\tAbility to work in fast-paced environment.\n\tAbility to work nights and weekends on occasion\n\tKnowledge in the safe operation of all garage tools, diagnostic equipment, lifts, hoists and jacking equipment.\n\tAbility to Identify and obtain necessary replacement parts as needed to execute repairs.\n\tAbility to read, understand and interpret technical data via instruction manuals.\n\tRespond quickly to dispatches and provide fast, friendly and professional service.\n\tWork independently but must be willing assist others.\n\tCommunicate with customers and dispatch.\n\tWork volume is unpredictable so must be able to respond to work when it comes in and remain on-call over extended periods of time.\n\tClear speaking and attentive listening skills. \n\t Flexibility in schedule.\n\tMinimum 21 years of age.\n\n
