Outbound Fulfillment Associate
**Primary City/State:** Phoenix, Arizona **Department Name:** Purchasing-Ref Lab **Work Shift:** Day **Job Category:** Supply Chain **POSITION SUMMARY** Provides professional, respectful, friendly and high quality customer service and excellent communications to all internal and external customers with regard to department supply orders. Processes all incoming client supply and department orders, assuring they are accurately picked, packed, confirmed and delivered in a timely manner. Responsible for all functions related to stocking, record keeping and distribution of all materials. Takes inventory count and distributes all items to proper location. _Performs all functions according to established policies, procedures, regulatory and accreditation requirements, as well as applicable professional standards._ **CORE FUNCTIONS** **1. Customer Service:** Responsible for professional, respectful and friendly communication directly with internal department customers in support of department stock and nonstock orders, emergency requests, order status, backorders, returns, and general supply related support. Contributes to positive Supply Chain Management brand and champions a culture of service. 2. **Inventory Management:** Performs inventory counts in both department point of use and in fulfillment center inventories using information systems and/or automated systems, generates pick lists, pick orders, restock inventories, puts-away inbound inventory, and completes client supply orders for delivery through logistics team or 3rd party carrier. Complies with First-In-First-Out (FIFO) replenishment standards. **3. Audit & Error Handling:** Performs audits on assigned inventories and identifies stock outs, expired inventory, FIFO inaccuracies, and damaged product and works with senior team members for guidance and resolution. **4. Route Delivery:** Delivers stock and nonstock supplies to all onsite departments and/or offsite customers using company vehicle. Communicates any discrepancies to customers using established communication methods for clear and prompt order feedback. 5. **Lean & 5S:** Actively supports Lean culture as a contributing team member in Lean projects and fulfills assigned 5S duties at established regular intervals. **6. Full Physical Inventory Count:** Performs detailed full physical inventory count during scheduled portions of the year utilizing established process and information systems. **KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS/ABILITIES** + Ability to effectively communicate verbally and in writing to a variety of customers and personalities while maintaining a positive and upbeat attitude. + Basic math skills and problem solving ability. + Ability to read, write and orally communicate clearly in English. + Excellent ability to work effectively in a dynamic, rapidly changing business. + Excellent collaboration skills and able to work on a diverse team. **MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS** + High School Diploma or equivalent. + Requires valid state driver's license. + Two (2) years’ previous experience in customer service and/or warehouse operations. + Demonstrated ability to maintain positive relations with a diverse internal team and external customer base. + Hazardous Materials certification upon employment or within six (6) months of hire. + Forklift certification upon employment or within six (6) months of hire. **PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS** + Associate’s Degree or higher level of education.
