Position Summary:
We are seeking a 2nd Shift Operations Supervisor to oversee outbound operations in one or more facility departments or functional areas. This role ensures the timely and efficient distribution of goods to maximize sales potential while maintaining sound inventory practices. The supervisor will coordinate closely with Sales, Customer Care, Supply Chain, and Category Management to meet and exceed customer expectations.
Hours: Monday - Thursday, 2:30 PM - 1:00 AM
Salary: $65,000 - $70,000 plus a quarterly bonus
Essential Job Duties & Responsibilities:
+ Model and manage the company’s core values.
+ Participate in hiring, training, development, and performance management of personnel in accordance with company and governmental policies.
+ Coordinate and execute employee training, retention, and hiring programs.
+ Enforce the “open door/open floor” policy and zero-tolerance policies.
+ Train associates and ensure compliance with all company safety policies and practices; identify and eliminate hazards.
+ Oversee receiving, picking, and loading operations, as well as transportation, inventory control, and quality.
+ Ensure employees' productivity levels, track and analyze product expiration dates, oversee cycle counts, monitor customer returns/credits, manage in-house damages/write-offs, ensure accuracy of intercompany transfers, and maintain compliance and recalls.
+ Ensure compliance with company and government regulatory rules and policies, including OSHA, environmental, food safety, DOT, and transportation authorities.
+ Participate in and coordinate operational management development programs.
+ Handle other duties as assigned.

Position Requirements:
+ High school diploma; associate degree preferred.
+ 3 years of experience in a distribution environment.
+ Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
+ Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
+ Experience in staff management, workload planning, and objective setting.
