Job Description
Deliver outstanding carrier and driver experience/solutions, in a contact center environment, through researching, problem-solving, setting appropriate expectations and working within the Transportation network. Work in a fast-paced environment, and adhere to schedules: start/stop, and breaks/lunches. Make outbound calls seeking to understand the potential or current issue discovered in the system as it pertains to a transportation issue. Support workload surges and/or weather-related operations as needed to include working significant overtime during designated high-volume peaks. Use internal systems to gather data from multiple sources to support reporting on a daily, weekly, monthly, and quarterly basis. Work with cross-functional teams and provide support to field teams in driver assignment, load acceptance, and driver/equipment availability.
ResponsibilitiesDeliver outstanding carrier and driver experience/solutions in a contact center environment.Research, problem-solve, set appropriate expectations and work within the Transportation network.Adhere to schedules including start/stop times and breaks/lunches.Make outbound calls to understand and resolve transportation issues.Support workload surges and weather-related operations with significant overtime during high-volume peaks.Use internal systems to gather data from multiple sources for reporting purposes.Collaborate with cross-functional teams.Provide support to field teams in driver assignment, load acceptance, and driver/equipment availability.Essential SkillsCall center background with experience taking 60-80 calls per day.Problem-solving skills.Tech-savvy with experience in transportation, intermodal, logistics, and supply chain.Ability to navigate multiple systems and tools to find solutions.Adaptability to changing rules and processes.Experience in a performance-driven, metrics-focused role.Self-sufficient with the ability to work independently.Additional Skills & QualificationsA completed Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited university or 2 years of relevant work experience, or 4 years of work experience in the logistics/transportation industry.Entry-level knowledge of MS Excel, familiarity with Excel spreadsheets, and ability to navigate and interpret data.Flexibility to work all shifts, including day or night and some weekend shifts, as the team provides 24/7 tactical support.Work Environment
Starting January 2025, all employees will be required to work onsite 5 days per week. Work hours are from 9:30 AM to 6:00 PM MST. Must be available to work at least one weekend day, possibly two.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $21.00 - $21.00
