Job Title: Outdoor Forklift Operator

Job Description

You will primarily be responsible for operating an outdoor sit-down forklift to move pallets around a large yard. Additionally, you will assist on the production line with cleaning and general labor tasks, including lifting up to 50 lbs. The role involves working 20% indoors and 80% outdoors, though forklifts are heated during winter months. Your day will be a mix of general labor and forklift operation, with a focus on the latter.

Everyone is expected to assist with general labor tasks and clean-up as needed. The work environment is rough, but the people are supportive and collaborative. The shift is Monday to Friday, 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM, with potential for overtime during peak season and the possibility of long-term employment based on performance.

This is a Contract position based out of Airdrie, Alberta.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $24.00/hr.
