Outdoor Marketing Associate (Digital / Traditional)

OBJECTIVE:

The candidate will have a solid understanding on marketing to a niche outdoor grill market.  Building the unique story and experience for the customer that sets us apart from the competition. Staying on top of trends, understanding which opportunities to focus on. The candidate will be involved in all facets of marketing the product - from creating marketing campaigns, social media strategies and ensuring wherever Flammkraft is positioned we are putting our best foot forward. The candidate must be self-motivated and possess the ability to effectively establish, create and execute plans with a keen attention to detail, accuracy and timing. 

The ZWILLING Outdoor Marketing Associate will work within the Marketing Communications department with a strong collaboration with the the VP of Outdoor, Product Development team, and the Flammkraft team in Germany. This position will report to the Director, Marketing Communications.

Primary Job Responsibilities – Traditional and Digital Marketing:

Establish, plan, and execute a comprehensive Marketing Plan for maximum exposure and engagement, including but not limited to: Recommend best outreach marketing channels (i.e. in-store, direct mail / print advertising / mobile, advertising / online / social, etc). Brainstorm new and creative growth/outreach strategies. Stay on top of trends and opportunities and determine how best to apply across all channels. Ensure content creation is fresh, on brand and can be used across all channels. Partnering with internal resources (Flammkfraft, Sales, etc) to develop campaigns (digital, email, collateral, social media, traditional, etc.) and collaborate on content development to ensure brand alignment. Create and manage the social media platforms for Flammkfraft US in collaboration with the social team. Create and manage the influencer/brand ambassador programs in collaboration with the PR/Social team. Create and manage the ZWILLING Flammkraft Paid Advertising with collaboration with the Digital team. Understanding the consumer demand of the key demographic as it relates to ZWILLING Flammkraft. Determine the most effective messaging to reach this audience in collaboration with our Copy Manager. Conduct and collect competitive / market research and information to identify opportunities and trends. Tracking and analyzing the sales.

Our ideal candidate:

Is adept at both working independently and collaborating with others. Has prior experience in D2C marketing. Copywriting experience for these channels preferred. Strong project management skills. Has solid organizational skills - planning, expediting, prioritizing, managing multiple tasks and meeting deadlines. Experience with social media, branding and digital marketing. Able to explain complex ideas in a simple way.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree with a minimum of 3 years’ direct experience. Experience in direct and digital marketing ideally in a similar industry. Strong communication skills.

Salary Range: $80,000.00-$100,000.00 per year contingent upon experience.
