Outdoor Preschool Program Associate Teacher Apply Now **Job Summary** The Health System Children's Center has openings for Associate Teachers in our outdoor preschool program. As an associate teacher in our outdoor program, you will facilitate children's wonder and learning in an outdoor "classroom" located in a wooded area adjacent to the Health System Children's Center. Our outdoor class spends most of their day outside year round in all weather conditions so children can develop a personal relationship with nature. Through this relationship, children learn about the natural world and become stewards of nature. The Health System Children's Center is one of three early childhood programs on the U-M Ann Arbor campus providing care for children from 3 months to 5 years of age. The U-M Children's Centers provide care for close to 500 children of faculty, staff and students from all over the world. The centers employ over 120 staff members. The play based programs are designed by teaching teams adapting to meet the needs and interests of the children. We maintain low teacher to child ratios so relationships can flourish.
