Position Purpose:
Ambulatory Surgery Department is a unit open Monday through Friday caring for patients with same day procedures. Nurses complete preop assessments and postop care of surgical, cardiology, radiology and Interventional Radiology patients from pediatrics to adult.
What you will Do:
Assess, plan, implement and evaluate care of patients.
Supervises and coordinates care provided by LPNs and PCAs.
Facilitates communication with physicians, families and other team members.
Hours/Schedule:
.6 FTE Days
Flexibility with hours during the week is very important, and ASU is closed on weekends & holidays and with no call.
Minimum Qualifications:
Current IA RN license
BSN preferred
No previous experience required
